This is a project hosted by the company Hippomini.dk introducing the MakerSpace concept to schools.

The concept MakerSpace is based on the idea that children learn best when they construct and build physical objects together. A creative learning environment at the School, is the first major step towards the future elementary school, and learning in the 21st century. MakerSpace focuses on the implementation of digital technologies, such as 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters and programming tools developed for children. These tools make it possible to work with entrepreneurship and design. Though the project works on many subjects, from history to language studies, nature and technology, mathematics, and not least the new subject “Crafts and design”. The three core competencies of MakerSpace are the ability to master and understand digital tools, the ability to actively participate in diverse communities and the ability to think and act innovatively to societal challenges.
